Rent Tucker House

Less than an hour from downtown Ottawa, Tucker House is a great place for weddings, family reunions, team building and retreats! Excellent for community meetings, staff parties and workshops of 10 to 35 people.

This wonderful, historic residence is equipped with all the necessary modern amenities, a result of the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s commitment to green design.

Guests have access to a fully equipped commercial kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms and shared bedroom accommodations for up to 24 people. Outside you can roam our 30 acres property, enjoy the gardens, pavilion, pool, fire pit and of course the nature trails.

We offer guided or self-guided tours on local history and heritage of the site and the sustainability features. Rooms feature original woodwork cut and milled on-site, lots of natural light, and design details by a Confederation-era architect.

In the house, you have access to two meeting rooms. The Parlour is ideal for meetings of up to 20 people, while the double dining room is best suited for conference room presentations or meals (for about 20 people too). There is also a downstairs powder room and upstairs bathrooms and bedrooms.

Accessibility

Tucker House’s main floor has barrier free access. If you have any concerns about accessibility, please contact us so we can ensure your time at Tucker House is as enjoyable as possible.

Tucker House recognizes that, as with Canada itself, the history of the site pre-dates Confederation and the arrival of the Tucker family. We acknowledge with respect that we operate on unceded Algonquin territory and seek to work with Indigenous peoples toward reconciliation.
