Summer Moments Series: Sharing Gardening Life with AgScape!

Maison Tucker House is excited to host the Summer Moments Series: Sharing Gardening Life with AgScape!

For thousands of years, communities have pooled their resources to support food production, recognizing that agriculture thrives when knowledge is shared. Passing farming skills and wisdom from one generation to the next has always been essential for ensuring food security. Although the world has changed dramatically, the core purpose and needs of agriculture remain the same. What has evolved are the tools, resources, and processes available to us.

We are pleased to launch, in partnership with AgScape, the initiative Summer Moments: Sharing Garden Life, a three-part project designed to bring together gardening enthusiasts of all levels, from curious beginners to seasoned growers. The goal is to create a welcoming space where participants can exchange ideas, compare successful techniques, and learn from challenges or failures. By sharing their experiences, gardeners support each other’s growth—both literally and figuratively.

The 3 part-series features the following workshops:

🌱 June 16th: June moments  — opening the garden, sowing, planting
🌿July 14th:  July moments  — managing the growth, challenges, remedies
🌾 August 19th: August moments  — harvesting, transforming and storing the fruits of our toil

🗓 June 16, July 14, August 19 | 6:30–8:30 PM
💲 $15/workshop or $30 for full series
@ Maison Tucker House
*The series is bilingual!

From the first seeds to the final harvest, this hands-on series invites you to reconnect with the rhythms of the garden. Learn, grow, and get your hands in the soil alongside a community of fellow nature-lovers. Limited spots available (20 participants).

Beyond practical tips, the project aims to weave a supportive network of people who care about cultivating food, community, and resilience. Each conversation, story, and shared moment contributes to a living tapestry of knowledge that strengthens everyone involved. In doing so, the initiative continues a long tradition: communities coming together to nurture the land and ensure a sustainable future for those who follow.
