The Journey of the Majestic Monarch Butterfly

Have you ever wondered where Monarch butterflies come from and where they go when they leave your beautiful garden? Did you know that the Monarch Butterfly is one of our most important pollinators? Do you know how to spot them as tiny caterpillars? Would you like to know how you can help attract them to your garden with the right food to help them prosper? These questions and so many more will be answered in this special workshop dedicated to the Majestic Monarch Butterfly.  Come discover, learn and create with artist and educator Shanna Steals, as she shares with you her experience in raising and tagging Monarchs and shows you how to create your very own Monarch life-cycle mobile with air-dry clay and simple origami! You’ll even get to bring home your very own milkweed seeds to plant in your garden so you can help attract Monarchs and help them in their important work of helping our flowers and food grow!
